STOP & SHOP LOCATED AT KELLEY'S CORNER IS NOW OPEN FOR BUSINESS!

The grand opening celebration of the new Stop & Shop grocery store was a sight to behold on Friday, December 13, 2024. 

The store was decked out in colorful balloons and banners, and warm drinks and and pastries were given for all to enjoy. Customers lined up eagerly outside, waiting for the doors to open and the festivities to begin. As part of the grand opening celebration a ribbon cutting was held at 10 a.m. with local dignitaries. A $2,000 check was presented to the Acton Food Pantry from Stop & Shop and the Acton Police held their Coffee with a Cop at the new site.

Inside, the store was bustling with activity. There were free samples of delicious food being handed out.  The store manager gave a heartfelt speech, thanking the community for their support and promising to provide top-notch service and quality products. As the ribbon was cut and the doors officially opened, the crowd cheered and rushed in to explore the aisles of the new Stop & Shop, excited for all the wonderful things this new store had to offer. Customers were delighted to see the wide selection of fresh produce, gourmet cheeses, hot food bar and specialty items lining the shelves. The friendly staff were abundant and greeted everyone with smiles and helpful recommendations, making the shopping experience even more enjoyable. As shoppers filled their carts with goodies and opening day specials, the sense of community and excitement in the air was palpable, solidifying the new Stop & Shop as a beloved Acton staple.
