How do I apply for a business certificate (a DBA - “Doing Business As”, register my business, etc.) right now?
  • Applications for DBA are on the Town website by going to www.actonma.gov, clicking on the Town Clerk web page, go under “Forms & Fees”, and then “License Applications”.  
  • After they are printed and filled in, they can be mailed in to the Town Clerk, or put in the drop box outside the Town Hall back doors.  
  • The applications must be approved by four other departments before they can be processed.  Due to COVID-19, the approval and processing will take a few weeks.
