At the April 17th Special Town Meeting, 230 registered voters in attendance voted on a single non-binding article related to conducting impact studies prior to presenting zoning articles to Town Meeting.
The article asked:
We urge Town leaders, before recommending any major zoning proposal, to perform (and release for public review) detailed impact studies, which examine the maximum impact of such a proposed zoning proposal.
The article was not supported by Town Meeting voters and it failed for lack of majority.
The vote was 72 in favor and 147 against. (See chart below showing results).

The 2024 Annual Town Meeting is scheduled for May 6th, starting at 7:00 PM at the Acton-Boxborough High School, and continuing on May 7th. It is recommended that attendees arrive early to ensure they are fully checked-in and seated when the meeting begins.
