This notice is to inform users of the skate park that a person in our community has tested positive for COVID-19 and spent time utilizing the T.J. O’Grady Skate Park on Saturday, October 24th and Sunday, October 25th.
Our first responsibility is to keep our residents safe and we are asking anyone who utilized the skate park on Saturday to contact the Health Department at 978-929-6632 and self-identify as being at the park.
The Town is following all COVID-19 safety guidelines, including collaborating with the Board of Health to complete contact tracing.
As our positive cases are increasing we need everyone to remain vigilant by complying with all safety protocols including mask wearing, hand washing, and physical distancing. Let’s all do our part to stop the spread. Statistics are showing that the uptick in cases are among the age 30 and under population, but knowing this still creates worry amongst those tracking this virus as this can easily be spread to family members or friends of those who test positive. We need to worry about everyone, not just ourselves.
For more information on COVID-19 symptoms and testing, visit this site. You can also find a map of testing sites here.
The skate park will closed until November 8, 2020.
