The Town of Acton invites you to participate in a brief survey about fire and emergency medical service (EMS) responses in our community.
Using state grant funds, Acton is working with the Edward J. Collins, Jr. Center for Public Management to assess our current fire and EMS service delivery model. This effort aims to explore innovative ways to improve safety and operational efficiency and ensure that our resources—personnel, equipment, and stations—are deployed as effectively as possible.
As previously announced, in February 2025, the Town launched a fire station deployment pilot program, temporarily consolidating personnel and apparatus into two stations:
• North Station 4 – 68 Harris Street
• South Station 2 – 54 School Street
This pilot program, developed in collaboration with Acton Firefighters Local 1904, is scheduled to conclude in May. More details can be found at www.actonma.gov/fire.
As part of our evaluation process, we encourage you to share your thoughts by completing this short survey. Your feedback is essential in shaping the future of Acton’s fire and EMS services.
