The Community Services Office within the Department of Health and Human Services, in partnership with MetroWest Legal Services, will host a monthly housing legal clinic beginning January 14th, 2025.
This program is funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and will run through December 2026.
Housing Legal Clinics will begin on January 14th and will be held on the second Tuesday of each month from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at the Human Services & Senior Center, 30 Sudbury Rear Road.
The program was initiated to address community input urging support of residents' tenancy in Acton.
The sessions will aim to address residents' questions about legal matters that will prevent evictions and foreclosures and address housing health-related concerns.
Representatives from MetroWest Legal Services will work in partnership with departments within the Department of Health and Human Services to assist residents in finding available resources.
