On December 5th and December 12th the Towns of Acton, Concord, and Lexington are hosting two in-person trainings for building professionals that will cover the recent and upcoming changes to the codes and what it means for your work.
Updates to the Residential Stretch Energy Code went into effect on January 1, 2023 and the Municipal Opt-In Specialized Code will go into effect on January 1, 2024 for many MA communities that have voted to adopt it. The Towns of Acton, Concord, and Lexington are hosting two in-person trainings for building professionals that will cover the recent and upcoming changes to the codes and what it means for your work. The trainings will be run by PSD Consulting and have been approved for continuing education for MA code officials and CSL licensees. See detailed course descriptions below—please note that discussion of the new Specialized Code will be covered in Course 1.
The trainings are free for participants, but registration is required and attendance will be capped at 50 participants.
