In 2022, we opened a new Recreation Department office (in addition to 50 Audubon Dr.) at the Sports Pavilion complex located in the upper park area. This office will be staffed weekdays from May 1 through October 31 (dates approximate).

NARA Park, the Nathaniel Allen Recreation Area, is located at 25 Ledge Rock Way in Acton and operated by the Town of Acton Recreation Department. The park is open year-round from sunrise to sunset and staffed seasonally from Memorial Day weekend through late August.

NARA Park and Beach Rules and Regulations


NARA Beach

NARA Beach is open to both Acton residents and non-residents from Memorial Day weekend through late August. Beach-goers can drop in for a daily-use fee or purchase a beach membership pass. A lifeguard is on duty during hours of operation.

We are currently working on beach operation logistics for 2023.  Please visit back late March for an update on beach passes, swim lessons and rates.  Thank you.

Hours of Operation:

SATURDAY, MAY 27 - FRIDAY, AUGUST 25, 2023: 

  • Open Daily: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (subject to change if necessary due to weather, lifeguard ratio)

Parking:
Parking is free and located at the lower park (25 Ledge Rock Way) and the upper field area (75 Quarry Road).  Please use upper field parking area for field and concert events.

Amphitheater/Pavilion


The Amphitheater is the home of the exciting Summer Concert Series featuring numerous national touring performers and local favorites from a broad range of genres. Everyone is sure to find something they will enjoy!
